How do I get breadcrumbs in the page kicker?

Hi!
I'd like to have breadcrumbs in the kicker of all pages using the Atahualpa theme.
How come I can't find breadcrumb funtionallity in the Post/Page Info Items?
Any other suggestions?

you could add a new widget area in the 'Configure Header Area' option and find a breadcrumb plugin to put in it.

I would imaging the developer eithor never thought of it, didn't think it was needed or felt it was too much effort for the return. To make it an option in the 'Edit post/page info items' would involve adding new functionality to the theme.

Would you interested in undertaking this effort and providing it to the community?
