How Do I Tell the Theme Code to Ignore CSS Styling?

I have a custom designed menu that uses heavy duty CSS style classes, but when I add the menu to the sidebar most of it is not displayed correctly compared to the web site I have the menu on.

How do I tell the theme code to Ignore all the styling CSS classes?

Thanks, Glenn

You can't you need to make your CSS override the existing CSS. Look up !important in CSS
