[SOLVED] Theme activated: blank page, only footer

Hi, after activating the theme, the first page of my blog is empty, I can see only the footer.
Version of wordpress: 2.9.2
Version of the theme: 3.4.9
Php version: 5.2.6
Any idea? Thank you

Going through all the options and "saving" them: the theme works.
