[SOLVED] two horizontal menus / bi-lingual menu
I have been asked to produce English and Greek navigation menus for a site and am wondering if anyone can suggest the best way of doing this?
I was hoping the theme may have the option to do this and that I could perhaps convert the category menu but this doesn't feel proper. My thoughts were to have one English menu and then a Greek menu immediately below but my previous efforts can't guarantee the two sets of items to remain separate and they overspill. On this site using the theme www.offmodern.com they have used two vertical menus at either side - how do you think this has been done? All help is much appreciated! |
If the menus are pointing to different pages just create a new menu with the WordPress menu system and then use %pages for one and %cats for the other.
For that menu take a look at the source code and you will see it is in a widget area which indicated they added a new widget area in place of the menu and built their own menu. |
I have two menus created but where do I type the %cats and %pages?
|
ato->Configure Header Area
it's a good idea to go thru all the theme option pages to get a general idea of where things are. |
will give it a go. have been trying hard to look. will persevere a bit harder.
thanks again |
