Home button

I've searched and searched. There is obviously a problem somewhere. I just can't find it.
The Home button has strange symbols on it. As well, after the writing in About, there is a debug=
lettering. I guess it must be connected somehow to the problem with the Home button.

Can someone help me?:o

are you using the atahualpa automatic menu or did you build a custom WP menu?
What do you have in the 'Configure Header Area' option?

erika_conn Mar 19, 2013 05:43 AM

I guess it's the atahualpa menu. Automatic? I entered the information myself.
Under "configure head area" I have; %pages %logo %bar1 %image %bar2

Under "blog title" I have this;
margin: 0;
padding: 20px;
letter-spacing: -1px;
line-height: 1.0em;
font-family: BT tahoma, arial, sans-serif;
font-size: 240%;

I don't have a logo.
Was this any help?

where did you enter the information?

erika_conn Mar 19, 2013 07:22 AM

That theme has its own options page so that's where the changes were made. I made a lot of changes including the color.

juggledad Mar 19, 2013 07:40 AM

ok, exactly did you enter where - go back and review what you did because somewhere you made a syntax error.

erika_conn Mar 19, 2013 08:22 AM

There are two places to make changes. One is with the Options page and in the Editor where all the php files are. I'm sorry. I'm just not a techie.

Do you think there's an error in header.php?

OK, I missed the obvious. One of the plugins was the culprit. Of course, I still have the "debug=" thing to contend with.

Any ideas?

juggledad Mar 19, 2013 08:35 AM

looks like you fixed the issue in the menu, what did you do?

erika_conn Mar 19, 2013 09:35 AM

I tested all the plugins and the culprit was allfonts. Anyway, I deleted it and that took care of the Home problem.

Next case; debug=

Let's see what I can find. Thank you for being there for me.
