Styling bbPress plugin with Atahualpa

Hey guys! New to the forums and web design. I looked all through the forums for info on using Atahaulpa to style my bbPress forum plugin but I haven't found exactly what I need to know. It's still not clear to be on how to use CSS to style bbPress and whatever else I would need to format bbPress to the way I would like it to be structured. I don't want to create a child theme unless that's the only way. If someone could point me in the right direction to styling and formatting my bbPress plugin's using Atahaulpa it would be greatly appreciated. There is so much open source information out there I get overwhelmed and I know there is a best way to do things and I can't find it. Thanks for any help. I'll check back to clarify my post's content if it is confusing.

You can add css using the CSS Inserts part of the theme options. As to what css you will need that depends on what you want to do. You can use a code examiner like firebug in Firefox to help you there

BBPress automatically inherits wordpress default theme colors/fonts configuration when that theme is activated, a similar functionality is possible with Atahualpa? maybe copying some files?

BBPress is kinda popular, but having to do its .css manually is a pain compared to the easiness Atahualpa gives.

any suggestions?
