[SOLVED] Website shows old theme and old version - How do I get it to show current th
 

Hi again,

Just got Atahualpa theme after having many issues with Thesis.

I'm currently going through the Beginner's Guide (by Carol Smith). I am navigating my way through, making changes and saving them as I go. When I view my website after making the changes, the changes are there.

However, when I log out of WordPress and just go into my website without logging in, it is still showing it with the old Thesis theme. What do I need to do to get it changed over to my new Atahualpa theme?

You need to choose it in the theme picker. Also check to see if you have a caching plugin active. If so, disable it during development

I did choose and activate the Atahualpa Theme in my WordPress Dashboard.

How do I disable or even identify a caching plugin?

Are any of the above plugins caching plugins?

What is he URL of your site

If you go to dashboard->appearances->themes, is atahualpa the selected theme? If not you must select the 'activate, under its description.

Yes, it is. Should I deactivate all of my plugins to see if that is the problem?

You are all set. I don't know why but swapping to twenty-ten then to Atahualpa has cleared things up.
