Gallery pictures how-to question - (Nothing to do with Atahualpa theme i assume)
 

Hi. I assume this has nothing to do with the Atahualpa theme. But thought I would ask here anyway as you all seem very helpful.

I inserted a gallery into my wordpress page but don't know how to get the thumbnails to open in a new window. (target="_blank") Anyone know how to do this?

Personally I don't like taking the user's focus away from the page they were on which is why I use one of the many plugins that will open the images with a 'lightbox' effect.

I use Shadowbox JS which can apply the effect to external links as well as single or gallery images.

As this site is from scratch I'm still building the content but you should get the idea.

Perfect. Thanks for the info. This will definitely be a better solution. I assume that JS shadowbox is this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/shadowbox-js/ ?
