Atahualpa 3.4.01 Sidebar text alignment on home / news page

Hi. I'm new here!
I'm making my site, http://www.craigatkinson.co.uk/ca
Take a look at the text on the sidebar. Now use the menu and select 'about' which is a category page. Look again at the text on the sidebar, the alignment is different. Is there a way of correcting this?

What menu? there isn't one that I can see at that url

Craig Atkinson Jul 8, 2009 04:08 AM

There's a pull down on the left? I'm on FF on mac.

Ok, now I see it (hmmm the pull down was not obvious at all - you may want to rethink the down arrows or put a title over it)

How did you create the sidebar - ie which widget are you using?

also please apply the path in post #13 of this thread http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthread.php?t=2260 so I can look at the CSS

Will do,thanks. Just using a text widget with my own dd menu

Ok, now set ATO->Configure CSS & JS->CSS: Compress? to 'NO'

Craig Atkinson Jul 8, 2009 05:44 AM

ok, done that

juggledad Jul 8, 2009 06:17 AM

Ok, I think I know what is happening. Set a font size in
ATO->Style Widgets->Widget Title and
ATO->Style Widgets->Widget Content Box

Because you don't have them set, they are picking up default settings. One is getting it from ATO-> Body, Text and links->Body Style and I'm not sure where the other is from.

So set the Widget styles and see if that fixes it.

Thanks. Yeah I just tried that and still no change. It looks like the line height or even the font is different on the news page. Puzzled!

they look the same to me, set the font-size: 1.5em; and see if it effects it on all the pages
