Page Title wrong - showing from another site!

Hi guys!

I have another mystery.

I have created 2 sites:

http://www.kerrvillemotel.com
http://www.bestwesternkerrville.com

The page title from the Kerrville Motel site is showing up on the Best Western site! Here are some facts:
  • Both sites' files are located in separate directories under http://www.bestbiztips.com
  • I have searched the functions.php and index.php code of Best Western site files and can find no reference to "Holiday Inn" or "kerrvillemotel"
  • In the WordPress dashboard, the Settings and the Home Page Meta fields all properly reference Best Western

Where do I look to fix this?

Thanks bunches!

KIP

I think the page title is the blog title so check Settings > General :)

Thanks! But as I said in my original question, the Settings is correct but is still showing the wrong Page Title!

LOL! No problem!

So, my question is still out there for anyone's help!

well the best western is an wordpress site, while the Holiday inn is an iFrame
Both page titles are fine in safari

Hi Juggledad -

That is very very weird. I created both sites in WordPress using the Atahualpa theme.

The Best Western page title was correct in the beginning. Then it changed to Holiday Inn. Then I double checked everything last week (and it was correct), resaved it, and the page title was correct. Then over the weekend, the page title mysteriously changed back to Holiday Inn - and was that way until this morning. NOW it is correct as the Best Western!!!

Are there gremlins out there?

I would check out what changes your host made over the weekend

Good suggestion. The host is GoDaddy. I doubt if anything happened, but you never know! It still defies logic that it would have a totally different page title. Oh well!
