[SOLVED] Too much content -> page empty

Please let me first say Thank You! and my congratulations for this great theme! It is the best theme I have ever seen.

I have just one little problem: On my website I wanted to have two single pages with literature tips. So I styled one with books and one for articles. Both with pictures of the books / articles and links for download or further information.

The second page now causes some problems: If the is too much content (perhaps too many pics?), the page turns to an empty page.

I solved the problem by creating three (sub-)pages, but I am not glad with this. Because the articles are in chronological order. So, if I have to add a newly published article, I do this on the first page for articles, called "Fachartikel" (http://variable-verguetung.de/literatur/fachartikel/). You can see there is a new one, in red letters and in German "NEU". After saving, the page is empty.

So I have to cut out the last article (picture and links) of this page and put it on the next page ("Fachartikel 2"). After saving Fachartikel 1, the page is normal and everything is good.

But now Fachartikel 2 turns empty. So I have again to cut out the last and transfer it to "Fachartikel 3", save Fachartikel 2 and Fachartikel 3 and everything is good.

Thatīs how you see it in the moment.

But I really would like to see all articles on one page... Can you help?

I would really be very happy if you could help.

1) are you using a plugin to add the images?
2) Try disabling all your plugins
3) have you looked at your error log to see if any messages are showing when the page is blank?

It sounds like the server might be running out of memory or the transaction is using too much time. Look in the server's error logs for more information

Thanks so far for trying to help me, Juggledad!

1) I did not use a plugin for the pics
2) Thatīs what I tried. It didnīt help.
3) Now you brought me to the end of my wordpress know how. I will find out what an error log is and where it is. I will come back with new information...

for the error log, you should look in your host's cpanel or what ever they give you.

Ok, Juggledad,
thanks a lot, today I learned a lot about error logs. I do not know why and how, but now it works. Maybe your eye on the website was enough to remember it to its duties :)
