[SOLVED] Problem with saving theme options
i want to change a menu icon. every time i try to save my theme options i get the message:
Forbidden You don't have permission to access /wp-admin/options.php on this server. what did i do wrong now?? |
You need to talk to our host. Montezuma wants to create a folder in wp-contents/upload to store the style.css and javascript.js and it would seem to me that you have a permission issue, so talk to your host's support about it.

I checked mine. My permissions are 755 for folders and 644 for files.
Beware of articles that tell you to set permissions at 777. While that will solve most access issues, it solves them too well -- 777 gives the whole world read, write, and execute access, which is probably not what you want. |
Thanks jungledad, i sent an email to my provider. But still waiting on response.
@jerryc: Yes my files and folders have the same rights you mentioned. |
it was a problem with the serverfirewall.
my provider solved the problem. Thanks for your hint juggledad |
