[SOLVED] Can't Change Font Size or Any Style of Comment "Reply Title"

I have combed through the recent forum discussions and although the following (closed) post from Jan 2011 answers my question, it unfortunately doesn't effect the change.

http://forum.bytesforall.com/showthr...ht=reply-title

I'm using the referenced code below in the "Add HTML/CSS Inserts" of the Atahualpa options:
#respond h3#reply-title {font-size:10px;}

With Firebug I can see that the containing DIV is called "respond" and the h3 is called "reply-title" so the above should work.

As I'm using WordPress 3.5.1 (latest) and Atahualpa 3.7.9, has something changed that makes the above referenced css ineffective?

Any pointers in the direction of where I haven't dug around yet would be much appreciated.

might you be using a plugin for comments??

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that as an issue. I'm not using a comments plugin, but I'm using plenty of others. I'll disable them all and activate them one by one until I find a culprit.

Yes, I'm guilty. I use Jetpack, a subset being the Jetpack comments section. But as it had no styling attributes, I assumed it was css agnostic. Not so. The following thread explains it.

http://wordpress.org/support/topic/p...le-comments-h3
How can I override the plugin style and style the #respond h3 to match my theme fonts? If I edit the plugin css I'll have to redo this every time I update.
Currently, this isn't possible (if you mean the Jetpack Comments #respond h3). The comment form is loaded in an iFrame from the WordPress.com servers, so all of the CSS is from there. We are working on ways to make this iFrame more responsive to theme design/colors/etc.
And here's how to disable Jetpack Comments (only) as it's not obvious.
