First post full, then excerpt in Category pages

Hoping to configure the first post to be complete and the remainder to be excerpts while in the category view.

You can see here:

theadventurebite.com/food

that they currently are all set to excerpts.

I do not have a home page feed, I basically use the category feeds as separate mini blog feeds within one site.

Thanks in advance!

Dani

Send me some of those Cinnamon Rolls from your first recipe!
Have you tried using JuggleDad template and setting number_of_full_posts to one?

They are tasty....I definitely recommend them! My hubby spoils me well :)

I'm afraid I'm not sure what the Juggledad theme is....I'm still on 3.7.3 base code with quite a few modifications so this is probably part of the new versions?

I know I should upgrade but at this point I've made so many different modifications to it outside of the CSS/HTML inserts for various things that I've been putting off the upgrade for quite some time.

Ahh the danger of making custom modifications. At some point, you get left behind.

I would suggest making a duplicate of your site and seeing how much work it would take to become current...

Juggledads muticolumn template
send juggledad some $ if you use it he works hard to help us.

BTW, it the changes you made we via the theme options, you have no problem. If however you went in and edited the theme code, that is where you will run into p=issues since you will have to re do them.
