[SOLVED] Forum Server plugin

I'm trying out the Forum Server plugin, a successor to WP-Forum.

I've run into some style issues, namely this gets added to the topic/profile page:

<table width=‘100% cellspacing=‘0’ cellpadding=‘0’ style=‘margin:0; padding:0; border-collapse:collapse:’ border=‘0’>

An example is here.

I suspect something in the theme CSS is overriding the plugin CSS. Is there an easy way to identify this and fix it?

did you enter the plugin info into the post using the visual editor or the html editor? I'm guessing you used the visual editor and it converts any '<' to '&lt' and '>' to '&gt' which then won't get processed by a plugin.

Edit the post using the HTML editor and make sure you have < and >'s

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have the visual editor disabled. The plugin only requires <!--VASTHTML--> to be inserted into a blank page.

You gave me a tip though and I discovered the problem was due to the WP-Typography plugin, not the theme.
