[SOLVED] Removing header & navigation bar completely?
Hello,
I'm working in Atahualpa 3.4.5 and have created a splash page. I would like to know how to completely remove all header areas as well as the page navigation bar from the home page only. I searched the forum quite thoroughly and have either missed something or came across old, out-dated posts. Much thanks in advance - have used this theme for a few other sites and I love it. |
Just go to ATO>Style & edit HEADER AREA and take out the appropriate code from the Configure Header Area box. The codes are all explained at the top of that page.

Wouldn't that remove the header / page nav bar from ALL pages though? I just need it removed from the home page.

Now I understand what you are trying to do. May I ask why? Splash pages are considered by most to be an unnecessary extra step into your site. Why not just have them go to a static home page with the info you first want them to see?

My apologies if I came off confusing :)
Essentially, the splash page will act as a navigation page itself with customized buttons to each of the pages... Having another nav bar would be overkill. |
you wll need to do this with a CSS Insert
HTML Code:
body.home #header { display:none; } |
Worked like a charm! A million thanks!
