[SOLVED] Edited virtual template changes not showing up
 

I've been trying to edit some templates, and things aren't always going as I expected. I made a new virtual template and edited some of the existing ones. When I try to edit them via the administration panel, it goes slow. On my server, I have an option to edit files via the file manager, which is much faster. However, when I did that, the changes didn't show up when I did view source. The files I edited are in /montezuma/admin/default-templates/main-templates. Am I misunderstanding something about how this works?
