[SOLVED] More menu problems

I'm still having trouble with the Page Menu in Ata 3.4.9 on WP 3.0.1. The latest problem is that the drop-downs in sub-pages are not moving out to the right. Rather, they're coming straight down and covering pages.

Oddly, it was working okay a few days ago.

I've now deactivated all plugins... and the problems persists. You can see it at http://paulskolnick.com.

Not sure if I'm using WP built-in menu system or Ata menu system... because neither seems to have a spot to deactivate it.

More out of curiosity than anything, is there a reason why you're choosing to stay with 3.4.9 rather than upgrading to 3.5.3?

Warmly,

Velma

I'm using 3.4.9 because it's the latest one available through Wordpress. Is 3.5.3 out of beta and released? And if not from Wordpress, where do I get it?

http://wordpress.bytesforall.com/?p=94 is where you get the newest version.

It will work with the new menu system for WP, though I'm still figuring out the CSS changes needed with this new menu system.

It's also great because you can export the settings as well.

You do need to upload the upgrade theme into it's own folder...don't do an "upgrade" within Wordpress.

Then you'll need to copy over your images to the new Theme Folder.

What I did was backup the images onto my computer. Load the new theme folder. Change the folder for old version of Ata to "atahualpa-old". Changed the name of new version's folder to "Atahualpa" (if that's what I had the original folder named as). Then uploaded the backed up images into the new version's folder. That way I didn't have to go and change the url's for any of my images.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks, Velma. The manual upgrade solved the menu problems. I appreciate your help.

My pleasure, Paul. :)
