Show actual comments in multi-post pages
Hi,
I have searched through the forum and tried several options, but I was unable to have comments (NOT the comment links) displayed on a multi-post page. Using Atahualpa 3.3.2 with WordPress 2.8. Thanks in advance or any help. |
Arbatax,
If you're referring to a multi-page post (i.e. split post), comments work fine on 3.3.3., they follow each page. Although you can enable comments on a specific page (such as About and so on), if you're referring to multiple posts being displayed on a page (such as on the Home or Category Page) and having comments follow each post ... I could be wrong but I don't think they're supposed to be there; those comments are attached to a post not a page. Hope this helps. |
I am wondering if I can get the home page to at least show just the comment box under the posts.
It seems like I should be able to do that? |

I'd like to display comments on multi-post page. But I don't see how Flynn's solution works in 3.7, now that there's no 'Content ABOVE Loop', 'The LOOP' etc. options any longer. I also can't find where to insert $withcomments = 1; in index.php file. bfa_center_content($bfa_ata['content_inside_loop']); ?> doesn't exist in the file.
You mention this may be a feature in later versions. Am I missing something really obvious? |
edit index.php and change line 39 (version 3.7.12) from
HTML Code:
</div><!-- / Post --> HTML Code:
<?php $withcomments = 1; comments_template(); ?> |
