two questions by excerpts

1、i configure excerpts set "Posts or excerpts on HOME page" to "only excerpts".in my home page,my all post only show title and [...],I want to show little content automatic,how can i do?
2、i use flash video to play my video files.the content as "[flashvideo file=video/MAH02670.mp4 /]",how to set Don't strip these tags?
